This deserves no star. Warning: I couldn’t get past page 13. The writing has graphic violence against all ages, even children. I don’t care if the book gets better as other reviewers must have found some merit. None of the vivid descriptions are needed. This has got to be the worst thing I’ve ever tried to read. As for “faith”, if this is supposed to be Christian, none of this story is. The terms of “angels, demons, Maker, & god” in NO way have anything to do with the Bible. Yes, I did mean “god” with a lower case as that’s how the book has it. I feel cheated by purchasing this book. It’s a good thing it was on special. Now, how do I delete it permanently from my kindle library. Yes, it’s that bad.Product details

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are relatable and loved getting to know them. The demons are frighteningly real.
A little confusing trying to keep all the characters straight, but very action packed and full of exciting events. Worth reading.

The book was OK, needs to be checked on errors again though. All in all a solid story but some things were too far reached and again others were like it was assumed the reader would know what was happening. But still a solid story
Absolutely magnificent. Wow. This has everything that makes reading worthwhile and then some. There were a few times during the reading of this that I might have had a bad day and words from the characters actually felt real enough that it made ME feel better. That is a gift and this book has it. I can't wait for the next book, I'm looking for it as soon as finish this review. I don't buy books with so much on the internet being free...but this is a series that I WILL be buying.
The Angel’s Covenant is an enchanting story filling your senses with wonderfully dark and descriptive scenes that keep you captivated from the first page to the last.
Author Lynn Landes’ gift of vivid imagery transports you deep into the world she has created. Here you find characters such as Azrael and Raphaim who leave you with chills as they reveal their dark and destructive powers. Only when Elina (keeper of the light) and the Watchers are introduced do you feel a sense of hope and balance to the power possessed by Azrael and Raphaim.
Landes engaging dialogue and back story will keep you on the edge of your seat as you explore this complex and mystical world that she has created. The in-depth nature of story produces a broad range of life-like characters and a world that is magical, mysterious, and riveting. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next installment of the Covenant Series!
This story had a terrible editor. Spelling, using the wrong sense with words and either omitted words, or words that didn't even belong in the sentence. I did enjoy the tale of the Angels, watchers, and keepers, however. From the ending (which it didn't seem to do), I can only assume that the story will continue with the next in the series. I really think that it could have been concluded in a better way. Most stories in a series, are written in a manner in which each book can be read and concluded as an individual novel. This one just didn't seem to "end", and intentionally opened up for the next in the series, without any indication of ending the first parts of the story. I personally will not be reading the rest of the series. You, on the other hand, should make that decision for yourself. One man's trash, is another man's treasure...right? As I already stated, I did enjoy the story, just not enough to go on in the series. To you it may be golden...to me...it was a waste of my time and money. Good luck to those of you who adventure into these novels. I really do hope that others get out of this book, what I couldn't. I also hope, that if you do decide to read it, that you will enjoy it more than I did. Happy reading.
